Please note – this checklist is meant to serve as a tool to assist you in developing your preliminary plat. These are the most common requirements as defined by the Cabarrus County zoning and subdivision ordinances. As such, it is not the intent of this checklist to describe every requirement. It is your responsibility to review the County ordinances and to design your project in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. As always, County staff will be glad to assist you in developing your plan and answer questions regarding these and other regulatory requirements.
